Database analytics

Page-load statistics

This database already uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for page views, referrer-based visits and loading performance. These statistics are reported separately from critpick.me. A visit is not a unique person, and sampled reports are labelled as estimates.

Optional tool-action counts

If you allow tool analytics, we count team-filter actions, successful build-code copies, generated breeding results and links to magazine guides. Only a fixed action name, tool category and the database hostname are sent to a same-origin Cloudflare endpoint. We do not include the selected creatures, search text, build code, full page URL, visitor ID, IP address or browser fingerprint in the stored event.

Cloudflare processes the network request to deliver the service; this does not mean that network metadata is absent from the service provider’s infrastructure. Our event dataset stores aggregate action data, not individual session recordings. Analytics Engine retains its event data for up to three months; exported aggregate reports may be retained for historical comparisons.

The optional counts cover only consenting browsers and cannot be treated as all users or a complete conversion funnel. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable optional tool events. Test events are separated from production reports.

Your choice

Use Analytics settings at the bottom of any database page to allow or disable tool analytics. Your local database choice expires after 180 days. Declining does not limit the tools. This database choice does not change your magazine consent settings.

Help us improve the database?

With your permission, we count tool actions such as team filters, copied build codes, breeding results and guide clicks through Cloudflare. We send only the action name and tool category, without your inputs, build codes or a visitor ID. We also count ordered steps within one page, such as opening a calculator, interacting and seeing a result. Only the final reached step and start hour are reported when you leave, finish or after 30 minutes; pages and people are not linked.

Tool analytics stay off until you allow them. Your choice is remembered on this database for up to 180 days; you can change it using Analytics settings. This choice is separate from the magazine’s settings and the existing Cloudflare page-load statistics.
