Questions

How current are these builds?

Every build carries its own "updated" line, and gear, skills and traits are rendered live from the official Guild Wars 2 API — so item names, icons and trait names can never drift from the game. What a balance patch can change is whether a build is still worth playing; that judgement is dated on each page.

Where do the builds come from?

Each page names its source. Mechanics are decoded from the in-game build code and verified against the Guild Wars 2 API, so the traits and skills shown cannot contradict the code you paste. Benchmark numbers, where they appear, are quoted as someone else’s measurement with a date, never presented as our own.

Why are some professions empty?

Because nothing has been written for them yet, and a missing page is more honest than a filler build. Every build listed here is one we would actually play; the list grows as pages are written, and nothing is promised before it exists.

How many builds will there be?

The target is two builds per profession per game mode — open world, raids and strikes, fractals, WvW and PvP. Where only one build is genuinely worth playing, you get one and a line explaining why.

Can I use these builds as a beginner?

Yes, and the card tells you which ones. Every build carries the entry level its own source gives it — beginner, intermediate or advanced — and the beginner ones stay useful while you are still learning the class: forgiving gear, short rotations, and enough sustain to cover mistakes. Where a source names no level, the build carries none rather than a guess.
