Aniimo Dex · No. 054
Shelly
Shelly is No. 054, a water type that hides inside beach shells and stays sealed shut through daylight — which, if the behaviour works the way the description implies, makes it a creature you look for at night.

The story of Shelly

Pawprint has also given it its own Observation Diary episode on the official channel. Paraphrased; replaced with our own observations after launch.
Field notes
Day 2, Echoback Landing at dusk. Walked past the same six shells four times before one of them moved. Placeholder text for the layout preview.
Shelly, answered
Where do I find Shelly in Aniimo?
The official index lists Crescent Bay and Echoback Landing. Unverified — we confirm or correct it from launch day.
Is Shelly only active at night?
The in-game description says it remains sealed during daylight. Whether that means it cannot be caught during the day, or just looks like a shell, is exactly the kind of thing we would rather test than guess.
What element is Shelly?
Water, in the DPS role.
Is Crescent Bay the same as the Island of Peace?
Probably, but nobody has confirmed it. The June announcements called the new water region the Island of Peace; July coverage and the official index both call it Crescent Bay. Same description, two names, no source that connects them.
