9 teams, ranked S to B. Tap an Aniimo to see only the teams it plays in. For how to build a team yourself, read our best teams guide.
Most teams share one shape: a damage dealer, a BREAK Aniimo that fills the enemy's BREAK gauge, and two slots for buffs, healing or energy that keep the squad going. The Irisalis team is the exception, and its card says what that costs. This is a tier list of teams; for single Aniimo, see the Aniimo tier list. In Egg Heist only the Aniimo in slot one fights, so that mode has its own Egg Heist tier list.

How we rank
S marks our endgame starting points; A marks more accessible or more conditional lineups; B marks starter teams. These are full-kit PvE teams, not automatic Chaos Egg Heist recommendations. We take the official Roster Recommendation as the base and add community teams only when at least two independent guides agree. Every card links its sources.
The team ratings retain their September basis. The 19 October factual update corrects Leafy’s field, Sherro’s own puddle creation and the expired original Dazmand event window. It does not claim fresh in-game clears for every team.
Leafy's Vitality Blooms supplies energy to Grass teammates and its off-field trait creates grass after three teammate skill casts. Somniwing adds energy recovery, while Turbo supplies damage support. This is a full-kit rotation: the same four names do not guarantee the same effects in Egg Heist's assist slots.
The catch
There is no dedicated BREAK slot. Check the target's full type matchup and your available skills and held items; a matching element alone does not establish the same performance.
How to get it
Irisalis from the Legendary Journey (25 Sept to 9 Dec), Somniwing from Elite Training, Leafy and Turbo from the open world.
Blazen breaks the target, which pins it in place; Luminelle adds Lightning damage and BREAK efficiency, Dazmand's Thunder Sweep raises the team's Lightning crit rate, and Fulmintis lands its burst into the Break State.
The catch
Fulmintis comes from the Companion Handbook and Dazmand from an event unlock, so two of the four slots are not open-world catches.
How to get it
Fulmintis from the Companion Handbook; the original Dazmand Aniimo Discovery window was 25 September–8 October 2026 and has ended. Check current in-game acquisition options before investing in this roster. Blazen and Luminelle are open-world catches.
Every skill feeds the same condition: Panpanta and Piopiota keep water puddles on the field for Sherro's passive, and Prismana Glacy opens with Glimmer Shot for the team-wide damage buff.
The catch
Keep puddles available before the damage window. Sherro can create its own with Hydro Roll; Panpanta and Piopiota add ways to maintain the setup rather than making it possible in the first place.
How to get it
All four from the open world; Glacy's Prismana Form in Prismana weather in Driftwise Meadow.
Pawprint's Dark starter core with the open slot filled by Rookey, a Dark BREAK catch. Fragrancier cuts the target's Dark Resistance and heals the team, Hexxin's Curse turns Dark basic attacks into EP, and Stellarys' clone copies its basic attacks, so both buffs pay twice.
The catch
Dark is weak to Light and Wind. The official team leaves slot four open; Rookey there is the community's pick, not Pawprint's.
Hold Somniwing's Ethereal Light Wave, break with Pomawk, then slip in Melloblum's Thorny Blessing right before the Break State opens so Thornblade hits into it buffed.
The catch
The rotation only pays off if the buff lands before the break. Somniwing comes from Elite Training.
How to get it
Somniwing from Elite Training, the other three from the open world.
Pawprint calls it the easier of its two advanced teams: Blazen breaks, Luminelle buffs, Besauce keeps the EP loop going, Fenmane fields Thunder Field and Thunder Imprint.
The catch
Besauce comes from the Shop Exchange. The team shares Blazen and Luminelle with the endgame Lightning squad, so it is also the path to it.
How to get it
Besauce from the Shop Exchange, the other three from the open world.
Built for the open world rather than a boss: Scorchhowl's Fire Kick and Cinderblast, Glacy's Healing Water, and the Fire support Pawprint's guide calls Co-raise Sprite.
The catch
The support is an event reward, and the team has no BREAK.
How to get it
Scorchhowl and Glacy from the open world, Little Fire Spirit from an event reward.
The Irisalis Grass team (Irisalis, Leafy, Turbo, Somniwing) and the official Lightning endgame roster (Fulmintis, Blazen, Luminelle, Dazmand) share the top spot. Irisalis hits harder; the Lightning team is easier to build.
Where do these teams come from?
Seven teams follow the Roster Recommendation on the official Pawprint guide portal. The Irisalis team and the Rookey variant are community picks that at least two independent guides agree on. Every card names its sources.
How do I see every team for one Aniimo?
Tap the Aniimo in the filter above the list. Each Dex entry also has an "All teams with …" button that opens this page already filtered.
Do I need Irisalis for a good Grass team?
No. The official advanced Grass roster (Thornblade, Pomawk, Melloblum, Somniwing) runs the same buff chain without a limited Aniimo. It ranks one tier lower because it deals less damage.
How often is this page updated?
After every patch and whenever the official guide portal changes its recommendations. The date at the top comes from the data file, not from a template.
