Budsquire branches at the Gamma Stage: it evolves into either Thornblade or Melloblum — two separate creatures with their own entries, not a special form. The official index doesn't say what decides which one you get; we'll add that once we've seen it in-game.
Melloblum’s skills
Grants Thorny Blessing to the whole team. When dealing Grass critical damage to a target, creates thorns beneath it that deal damage. Triggers up to 1 time every 0.5s for 14s.
Summons a rose that explodes and applies Rose Mark to the target. Rose Mark blooms after the target takes 3 critical hits, healing all nearby allies for 5% of Melloblum's HP.
Releases petals that track and attack the target. This skill gains 35% extra critical rate.
Creates a magic circle beneath itself. Allies within range gain 70% increased Grass critical damage for 30s.
