The story of Cawgnito
"Long ago it freely soared the skies. After losing a contest with Galeclaw, it abandoned the skies and now lives a secretive life in the dark of night."
Cawgnito is a bird that gave up on flying: beaten in a sky-duel with Galeclaw (No. 049), it retreated into the dark and reinvented itself as a night creature. The plague-doctor look fits the gloom. In 1.0 it was repurposed as a utility Pal — Night Vision for you, Bone for your Ranch, and a tidy Dark attack kit for the road.
Day 14. A crow in a plague-doctor hat, drifting through the dunes at night. Unsettling.
Day 15. Toggled its Night Vision and suddenly caves are navigable without a torch.
Day 17. On the Ranch it keeps digging up Bone. Handy, hands-off supply.
Day 20. Learned it lost a fight with a Galeclaw once. Explains the grudge against daylight.
Cawgnito, answered
Where do I find Cawgnito in Palworld?
At night, in groups of 2–3 — the Bamboo Groves, the Desiccated Dunes, and the Secluded Cemetery on Sakurajima. It also appears in the Ravine Grotto and Cavern of the Dunes, or hatches from a Dark Egg.
What does Eerie Nightstreaker do?
Toggle it on for Night Vision to see in dark places, and on the Ranch it occasionally digs up Bone.
Is Cawgnito good?
As a utility Pal, yes — Night Vision is genuinely useful for caves and nights, it farms Bone at the Ranch, and it has a solid Dark attack kit. Its base work is light.
What is Cawgnito weak to?
Dragon, because of its Dark typing.
What does Cawgnito drop?
Bone ×2–4 and Venom Gland ×2 every time (100%), with a rare (1%) Small Pal Soul.
Was Cawgnito renumbered in 1.0?
Yes — it was No. 044 before Palworld 1.0 and is No. 057 now.
