Kingpaca No. 021
Kingpaca is the Neutral Pal at No. 021 — a giant, regal alpaca that lords over the smaller Melpaca (No. 020). It is an early Epic you meet as a field boss, a rideable mount once you saddle it, and the payoff for a Melpaca-heavy party.
Where to find Kingpaca
Its passive wild habitat is the No. 2 Wildlife Sanctuary (it flees when it sees you), but the Alpha in the Windswept Hills (around game coords 50, -460, Level ~23, flanked by two Melpaca) is how most people get one early. It hatches from a Huge Common Egg.
Region: Windswept Hills (Alpha) / No. 2 Sanctuary · Time: day & night · Threat: field boss
Stats & how they vary
Melee 100, Shot 85, Support 100, Stamina 170, Running Speed 700, Sprinting Speed 1040. Rarity value 8. The four displayed stats use Attack = Shot 85. With 120 HP and 90 Defense it is genuinely bulky for an early Pal — a real wall the first time you fight it, and a sturdy mount afterward. Type matchup. Neutral has no offensive edge and is weak to Dark — bring a Dark Pal to the boss. Work speed 100 is the series default.
Work & drops
Its only base job — a solid Lv 2 harvester for your Berry Plantation, but you keep Kingpaca for the mount and the Melpaca synergy, not the work bench.
Wool ×5 (100%). The field-boss (Alpha) version drops far richer — Neutral Radiant Gem and a stack of Ancient Relics — so fighting the Alpha is worth it for the relic haul.
Partner skill: King of Muscles
A court buff — the more Melpaca you carry, the stronger the king you ride.
Active skills
A Neutral kit with a Ground/Electric detour and an exclusive slam. Values from palworld.gg (post-1.0).
How to breed Kingpaca
Kingpaca descends from the Melpaca line and hatches from a Huge Common Egg; the easiest way to get one is simply to beat the Windswept Hills Alpha. Where it matters as a parent:

The story of Kingpaca
"Melpaca serve this Pal. Contests between Kingpaca offer up their vassals as a wager. Those seen alone are losers of such contests."
The Paldeck builds a whole feudal comedy around fluff. Kingpaca hold contests and bet their Melpaca vassals on the outcome — so a Kingpaca you find alone is a loser who gambled away its followers. It also explains the partner skill: a king surrounded by Melpaca is a winning king.
Day 15. Met a very large alpaca with two smaller ones in tow. It hit like a truck. I did not win.
Day 17. Came back with a Dark Pal. The king fell; the two Melpaca defected to my side immediately.
Day 18. Saddled it. It carries me across the hills faster than I expected for something this fluffy.
Day 22. Loaded my party with Melpaca and rode the king into a fight. It shrugged off hits it should not have.
Kingpaca, answered
Where do I find Kingpaca in Palworld?
As a Level ~23 field boss (Alpha Kingpaca) in the Windswept Hills, flanked by two Melpaca; its passive habitat is the No. 2 Wildlife Sanctuary. It also hatches from a Huge Common Egg.
How do I beat the Kingpaca boss?
Bring a Dark Pal — Kingpaca is Neutral and weak to Dark — and deal with the two Melpaca adds first. It is bulky (120 HP), so pack sustain.
Is Kingpaca a mount?
Yes — saddle it and ride it on land. High Stamina and Sprint speed make it a comfortable early ground mount.
What does King of Muscles do?
While you ride Kingpaca, its Defense and Movement Speed rise by 5~14% for each Melpaca in your party — so a Melpaca-stacked team makes the king tankier and faster.
What is Kingpaca weak to?
Dark, because of its Neutral typing.
What does Kingpaca drop?
Wool ×5 every time; the field-boss version also drops Neutral Radiant Gem and a stack of Ancient Relics.
Was Kingpaca renumbered in 1.0?
Yes — it was No. 089 before Palworld 1.0 and is No. 021 now.
