Daedream No. 022
Daedream is the Dark-element Pal at No. 022 — a small, floating spirit you only meet after dark. It looks like a decoration and fights like a second gun: kept in your party it trails behind you firing magic bullets at whatever you attack.
Where to catch Daedream
Daedream only appears at night — look for its glowing head in the grass of the Windswept Hills, and around the western Sea Breeze Archipelago and Ice Wind Island once the sun is down.
It's neutral and won't start a fight, so weaken it and throw a regular Pal Sphere. It also hatches from a Dark Egg.
Region: Windswept Hills · Time: night only · Sphere: regular · Threat: low
Stats & how they vary
Base values before IVs, passives and condensing. A 70/75/60 line is fragile — Daedream chips from range and behind you, it doesn't trade blows.
Work & drops
Three level-1 jobs. Not a standout worker, but it never sits idle at a starter base while it earns its keep in your party.
Venom Gland feeds early poison arrows and a few starter recipes.
Partner skill: Dream Chaser
This is why you keep a Daedream even when it never leaves its sphere.

The story of Daedream
Daedream drifts through the night looking, to most people, like a bad dream that wandered off. It's harmless alone and clings to anything that will have it, trailing after a partner and lashing out at threats with small bolts of malice. It is, in its way, deeply loyal — it just expresses it by shooting things near you.
Paraphrased from Daedream's in-game Paldeck entry.
Day 6. The Daedream refuses to acknowledge daylight exists. Comes out at dusk, spends the night helpfully shooting at moths, and vanishes at dawn. Nocturnal to a fault.
Day 14. Realised it's been quietly finishing off half the things I fight. I take the credit, it takes the shot, we don't discuss it.
Day 25. Woke to find it hovering over my bedroll like a small purple nightlight. Unsettling. Kept it.
Daedream, answered
Where do you find and catch Daedream?
Daedream only appears at night — look for its glowing head in the grass of the Windswept Hills, and around the western Sea Breeze Archipelago and Ice Wind Island once the sun is down. It's neutral and won't start a fight, so weaken it and throw a regular Pal Sphere. It also hatches from a Dark Egg.
What does Dream Chaser do?
While in team, it appears near the player and follows up your attacks with magic bullets — free extra damage on every target you hit.
Is Daedream good?
Early on, yes, for its role: Three level-1 jobs. Its stats are modest, so lean on the partner skill and trade up by midgame.
How do you breed Daedream?
It has no unique combo — pairs like Killamari with Lamball, or Cattiva with Vixy produce it. Breed repeatedly to stack good passive skills onto one you like.
What does Daedream drop?
It drops Venom Gland. Venom Gland feeds early poison arrows and a few starter recipes.
Can you ride Daedream?
No. Daedream isn't a mount — it's a floating follower that fights from your party. For an early ride, look at Direhowl or Rushoar.
