Kelpsea Ignis No. 043B
Kelpsea Ignis is the Fire variant of Kelpsea at No. 043B — the same tiny sea-dragon larva, born in warm volcanic water and driven instead of moody. It swaps Watering for Kindling and carries a genuinely strong late-game skill.
Where to find Kelpsea Ignis
Kelpsea Ignis lives in the volcano — Mount Obsidian and the Volcanic Cavern — day and night, roughly Lv 24–35 (with a low-level pocket around Lv 9–11). It is also fishable from large ponds.
It hatches from a Scorching Egg.
Region: Mount Obsidian · Time: day & night · Threat: passive
Stats & how they vary
Melee 100, Shot 70, Stamina 100. Rarity value 2, Size XS. The four displayed stats use Attack = Shot 70 (melee 100). Identical raw stats to base Kelpsea — the difference is the element, the Kindling work and the skill kit. Type matchup. Fire is strong against Grass and Ice and weak to Water — bring a Water Pal to catch it. Work speed 100 is the series default.
Work & drops
The Fire form trades Watering for Kindling — it can run a furnace or campfire and rounds out the Ranch.
Raw Kelpsea ×1 · Flame Organ ×1 (both 100%). Flame Organ replaces the base form's Pal Fluids.
Partner skill: Lava Spout
The practical breakdown of Lava Spout.
Active skills
A Fire/Dragon kit topped by the Lv-70 Dragon Meteor (600) — the endgame skill base Kelpsea never gets. Values from palworld.gg / paldb v1.0.0 (post-1.0).

The story of Kelpsea Ignis
"Born in warm waters, this Pal grows up passionate and motivated — a far cry from its moody, cold-water cousins."
Where the base Kelpsea's character is decided by pollution, Ignis is decided by heat: a volcanic upbringing makes it driven rather than sullen. It trades the Watering can for a torch and, more importantly, carries the Kelpie line's real payoff — a Lv-70 Dragon Meteor that hits far above its Common billing.
Day 15. Caught a glowing larva at the foot of Mount Obsidian. It runs hot.
Day 16. Kindling duty — it keeps the furnace going.
Day 18. Its party buff makes my Fire hitters noticeably stronger.
Day 30. Learned Dragon Meteor at Lv 70. On a Common, that's a genuine surprise.
Kelpsea Ignis, answered
Where do I find Kelpsea Ignis in Palworld?
In the volcano — Mount Obsidian and the Volcanic Cavern — day and night, roughly Lv 24–35, and it is fishable from large ponds. It hatches from a Scorching Egg.
What does Lava Spout do?
In your party it raises Fire Pals' Attack by +15% up to +30% (does not stack), and on the Ranch it occasionally drops Flame Organs.
Is Kelpsea Ignis good?
For a Fire roster, yes — a Fire-team buff, Kindling Lv 1, base Flame Organs and a Lv-70 Dragon Meteor punching above its Common tier.
What is Kelpsea Ignis weak to?
Water, because of its Fire typing.
What does Kelpsea Ignis drop?
Raw Kelpsea ×1 and a Flame Organ ×1, every time (100%).
How is Kelpsea Ignis different from Kelpsea?
Same larva, Fire instead of Water: Kindling instead of Watering, Flame Organs instead of Pal Fluids, and a Lv-70 Dragon Meteor.
