Gloopie No. 048
Gloopie is the Water/Dark Pal at No. 048 — a small semi-humanoid octopus with curled tentacle hair. It is a nocturnal fisher's companion: its partner skill makes the fishing minigame more forgiving.
Where to find Gloopie
Gloopie is a night-only Pal. It spawns on the Isle of Decayed Treasures in groups of 2–3, and inside the Volcanic Cavern. It is also fishable at night around Mount Obsidian and Sakurajima.
A possible Alpha boss appears in the Volcanic Cavern. It hatches from a Large Damp Egg.
Region: Isle of Decayed Treasures · Time: night only · Threat: passive (flees)

The story of Gloopie
"The marks left by its suckers look uncannily like the aftermath of an amorous encounter — a resemblance it seems entirely too pleased about."
Gloopie is the Paldeck at its cheekiest: a flapjack-octopus "Trickster of the Sea" whose lore is one long suggestive joke about suction marks. It flees from people but bites back when cornered, and by day it's nowhere to be found — a night-water creature that happens to be the best fishing buddy in its range.
Day 12. Only ever see these at night around the treasure isles. Shy little octopi.
Day 13. Put one in the party and my fishing gauge stopped punishing every slip.
Day 15. Watering Lv 2 plus Handiwork — a tidy base worker on top of the fishing help.
Day 18. Bred it with a Valentail and got the paler Primo. Same trickster, different colours.
Gloopie, answered
Where do I find Gloopie in Palworld?
At night — on the Isle of Decayed Treasures (groups of 2–3) and inside the Volcanic Cavern — and it is fishable at night around Mount Obsidian and Sakurajima. It hatches from a Large Damp Egg.
What does Sticky Princess do?
In your party it slows the fishing capture gauge's decrease while the bars aren't overlapping (−12% up to −35% condensed, does not stack), giving you more time to land a catch.
Is Gloopie good?
Yes — a Lv 2 base worker across Watering, Handiwork and Transporting, a strong early Water/Dark attacker, and a genuinely useful fishing aide.
What is Gloopie weak to?
Electric and Dragon, because of its Water/Dark typing.
What does Gloopie drop?
Aquatic Pal Fluids ×1–2 and Gloopie Tentacle ×1–2, every time (100%).
Was Gloopie renumbered in 1.0?
Yes — it was No. 151 before Palworld 1.0 and is No. 048 now.
