Killamari No. 030
Killamari is the Water/Dark Pal at No. 030 — a small, blank-faced squid you fish out of the water at night. It is a Common with a genuinely useful glider-support partner skill and a grim little Paldeck entry, and it is the parent of its own Neutral variant, Killamari Primo.
Where to find Killamari
Killamari is nocturnal (a Dark Pal, it does not sleep at night) and is caught by fishing at night from saltwater along the northern Forest Region shore (Verdant Brook toward the Scars of War), the Foot of the Astral Mountains, and the eastern Astral Mountains grassland coast. It is neutral in temperament.
It is a regular encounter — and a possible Alpha boss — inside Hillside Cavern, and hatches from a Dark Egg.
Region: fished at night (Forest Region / Astral Mountains) · Time: night · Threat: neutral
Stats & how they vary
Melee 100, Shot 60, Support 100, Stamina 100, Running Speed 400, Sprinting Speed 550. Rarity value 1. The four displayed stats use Attack = Shot 60. Killamari is a light utility Pal — you carry it for the glide, not the fight. Type matchup. Water/Dark is weak on both halves: Grass and Electric hit the Water side, and Dark hits the Dark side (Dark takes extra damage from Dark). Keep it out of tough fights. Work speed 100 is the series default.
Work & drops
A modest three-job spread, with Transporting Lv 2 the standout — a decent early hauler that also waters and gathers.
Venom Gland ×2–4 (100%) · Aquatic Pal Fluids ×1 (100%) · Killamari Tentacle ×1 (50%). Venom Gland for poison gear, Pal Fluids for recipes, and its own Tentacle as a cooking/crafting ingredient.
Partner skill: Fried Squid
It buffs the glider you already have — cheap early air time.
Active skills
A Water/Dark kit. Values from palworld.gg (post-1.0).

The story of Killamari
"It wraps itself around an enemy's head, sucking out their insides. Pal mummies are occasionally found, but these are in fact Killamari victims."
"Emotionless" undersells it. The blank little squid is a face-hugger that drains its prey hollow, and the desiccated "Pal mummies" adventurers stumble on are its leftovers. It is one of the darker early entries — and then you catch it and use it to float gently off cliffs. The tonal whiplash is the joke.
Day 10 (night). Fished a small squid out of the dark water. It stared through me. Kept it.
Day 11. Put it in the party and jumped off a cliff. The glide lasted twice as long. Worth the whole trip.
Day 14. Read the Paldeck entry about the mummies. Looked at the squid. The squid looked at nothing.
Day 18. Bred it with a Ribbuny and got a pale Primo version. Same glide, different colour, marginally more unsettling.
Killamari, answered
Where do I find Killamari in Palworld?
It is fished at night from saltwater along the northern Forest Region shore and around the Astral Mountains. It also appears in Hillside Cavern (regular and Alpha), or hatches from a Dark Egg.
What does Fried Squid do?
While Killamari is in your party, your equipped glider floats gently for much longer — extended slow-glide, a cheap early mobility boost. It enhances your glider rather than replacing it.
Is Killamari good?
As a glide-support and early hauler (Transporting Lv 2), yes. As a fighter it is fragile and weak on both element halves — keep it out of hard fights.
What is Killamari weak to?
Grass and Electric (its Water half) and Dark (its Dark half).
What does Killamari drop?
Venom Gland ×2–4 and Aquatic Pal Fluids ×1 every time, with a 50% chance at a Killamari Tentacle.
Was Killamari renumbered in 1.0?
Yes — it was No. 023 before Palworld 1.0 and is No. 030 now.
